Your 3-day desert experience
Day 1 — Arrival, camel ride & desert camp
Meet Mohamed in Merzouga and park your vehicle at the arranged meeting point. From there, continue by camel into the dunes and toward your desert camp. Settle in, enjoy the desert atmosphere, dinner and the evening at Sirocco Luxury Desert Camp or a similar standard.
Day 2 — Full Merzouga desert day
After breakfast, explore the Merzouga desert area with Mohamed by 4x4. The day focuses on the landscape and local life rather than rushing between tourist stops. Enjoy traditional Madfouna prepared and baked in the desert, with lunch outdoors under an acacia tree or another suitable shaded desert spot.
Day 2 afternoon — Sandboarding, quad or buggy & sunset
Try sandboarding on the dunes. Around 4:00 PM, start a one-hour quad or buggy ride back toward the camp. Depending on the season and timing, you can stop to enjoy sunset along the way.
Day 3 — Breakfast & departure
Enjoy breakfast, then Mohamed arranges your return to the parking point so you can continue your trip with your own vehicle.
